Green Energy Doors Open 2013: Come on out October 5

Sudbury’ SUN Co-operative is proud to participate in Green Energy Doors Open 2013, October 5 from 1 – 4 pm at the Environmental Resource Centre, 176 Larch St, 3rd floor in  downtown Sudbury. Green Energy Doors Open is an annual, single-day showcase of the province-wide green energy economy. Across Ontario, producers and users of sustainable energy are opening their doors to raise awareness, understanding and support for sustainable energy. Ontarians will have the chance to visit, see, touch and talk about the projects in their own backyard.

That’s where we come in! The SUN Co-operative is a local non-profit solar co-operative with plans for various rooftop and brownfield solar projects in Sudbury, all owned and controlled by our individual members. We still need to reach our goal of 50 members, and that’s where you come in!  You get a great financial return, keep an investment in your community, help the environment, and the surplus goes to community environmental action.  It’s a win-win-win-win!  Come out on October 5 or sign up to be a member online at or find out more about Green Energy Doors Open 2013 at
